And you’ll experience this for yourself by taking part in this horse ride in Castelnuovo di Farfa: you’ll ride through lush green countryside in the heart of the Sabina region, breathing in the scent of the woodland and listening to the wind singing through the branches.

What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castelnuovo di Farfa (RI). Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will provide all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience.
And now we’re ready for our horse ride: we’ll set off into the lush countryside in the heart of Sabina, venturing into the woods and riding amongst the olive trees. Along the way, we might even spot some local wildlife, such as hawks and young wild boars!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The experience lasts a total of 1 hour or 2 hours, depending on the option selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the horseback ride.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide leads the horseback ride, with or without a lunge at his or her discretion. The horse ride takes place exclusively at the pace.
Other information
Caution! It is compulsory to wear long trousers and closed shoes without heels. If the clothing requirement is not met, the activity may not take place and no reimbursement will be made at the guide's discretion.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is a farm on site that offers a catering service: aperitif, apericena, brunch, lunch and dinner. Contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail for more information.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
