Is this the first time you have seen the mountains?
No, and yet this is the emotion you will experience by taking part in our horseback ride in Challand-Saint-Victor: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the natural scenery of the Val d'Ayas, among characteristic villages and scenic peaks.
An equestrian adventure for the whole family, capable of enchanting young and old!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Challand-Saint-Victor (AO). On site, we will meet the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
- A 30-minute experience:
Having gathered all the participants, we will mount the saddle and begin our horseback ride: we will ride on asphalt and dirt roads, passing through a characteristic village and entering the natural scenery of Val d'Ayas. Regardless of the route taken, there will never be a lack of mountains in the background! The guide leads on foot with or without a harness, guaranteeing maximum safety and carefreeness.
- 1-hour experience:
In addition to the 30-minute experience, before the horseback ride, we will enter the field and learn the basics of horseback riding. This will be followed by a 30-minute horseback ride, always in the company of the guide, who will lead us on foot with or without a harness.
We will then return to the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
To participate, a maximum weight of 120 kg and autonomy in getting on and off the horse is required.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide leads on foot with or without a harness at his or her own discretion. The horseback ride takes place at pace; experienced riders may request to practice other gaits at the guide's discretion.

The experience takes place all year round.
Dogs are allowed and will remain at the stables during the experience: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend. Any accompanying persons with dogs on a leash may follow the horseback ride on foot.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
