These are the ingredients of our horse ride in Castelnuovo di Farfa: you’ll ride through lush green countryside in the heart of Sabina, to an organic farm for a tasting of local produce.
A 4-hour experience to be enjoyed with all your senses!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castelnuovo di Farfa (RI). Once there, we will meet the riding guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We will then mount up and learn the basics of horse riding; the guide will provide all the information needed to ensure a worry-free experience.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll venture into lush countryside in the heart of Sabina, riding through woods and amongst olive trees. After about an hour and a half on horseback, we’ll reach an organic farm where we’ll be treated to a tasting of local produce: dishes made with fruit, vegetables and other delicacies, accompanied by the farm’s own wine.
After recharging our batteries, we’ll resume our horse ride and return to the meeting point. The experience lasts approximately 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the horseback ride.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide leads the horseback ride, with or without a lunge at his or her discretion. The horse ride takes place exclusively at the pace.
Other information
Please note! You must wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes without heels. If the dress code is not adhered to, the activity may be cancelled and no refund will be given, at the guide’s discretion.
The experience runs all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of 2 participants has been reached.
Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
