Would you like to know what an aperitif involves?
We’ll tell you all about it. But we’ll also tell you more about our horse ride in Albiano d’Ivrea: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll ride through stunning natural surroundings until you reach the shores of Lake Viverone and the pile-dwelling village.
An experience lasting over 4 hours, at the end of which you’ll raise a glass at a farmhouse inn!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Albiano d’Ivrea (TO). Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll be given our equipment and assigned our horses. We’ll then mount up, learn the basics of horse riding and all the information we need to ensure a worry-free experience.
And here we are, ready for our horse ride: we’ll set off into the countryside, riding for about an hour and a half until we reach the shores of Lake Viverone. We’re sure to spot the lake’s main attraction: a pile-dwelling village linked to the legend of St Martin. And if the guide allows it, we might even be able to wade into the water whilst still in the saddle!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point, taking a scenic route with views of the moraine landscape and the Bishop’s Castle. Once we arrive, we’ll be able to enjoy our aperitif or pre-lunch/dinner at the farmhouse:
- Aperitif: an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink served with crisps and olives.
- Light lunch or dinner: an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink served with cold cuts, cheeses, omelettes, savoury tarts, vegetables and fruit.
The horse ride lasts approximately 3 hours; the entire experience lasts approximately 4½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for those aged 14 and over. Minors may take part unaccompanied.
To take part, you must weigh no more than 100 kg.
The experience is easy and ideal as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
