‘See Naples and die’? We prefer: ‘Hop on a horse in Sorrento and fall in love! ’
If you fancy a bit of a break, join us on this wonderful horse ride: accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll explore a 17-hectare estate with breathtaking views over the Gulf of Naples.
A one-hour experience surrounded by nature, with the option to add a sumptuous aperitif with panoramic views!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the time specified at the meeting point in Sorrento (NA). Waiting for us there will be the riding guide who’ll accompany us on this fantastic adventure!
The horses will be ready and waiting, and we’ll have an initial 10–15-minute briefing to learn how to sit in the saddle and lead the horse in complete safety.
Then we’ll mount up and set off from the central paddock to explore a marvellous 17-hectare estate overlooking the sea. Accompanied by the guide, we’ll ride at a walk through lush olive groves and a fragrant citrus orchard before venturing into a cool woodland.
During the one-hour ride, we’ll take in a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento. If we choose the evening slot, we’ll even get to watch the sun set right over the waves!
At the end of the ride, you can choose to round off the experience with a delicious aperitif featuring local nibbles such as fiordilatte, parmigiana and rustic pizzas, accompanied by a spritz or wine. You can select this option in the booking box.
Including preparation, a briefing and the walk, the experience will last a total of 2 hours ( 3 hours for the aperitif option) .
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for those aged 14 and over. Those under 18 may take part unaccompanied, subject to parental consent provided on site.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to take part. The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
The experience is of an easy level and is suitable as a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience runs from February to November and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
When booking, you can choose between the ‘without aperitif’ or ‘with aperitif’options by selecting your preferred choice from the drop-down menu. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please contact the guide using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know.
Accompanying guests who are not taking part in the walk can wait at the riding school.
The riding style is American-style.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached directly by public transport, but the venue provides a pick-up service on request from your accommodation/hotel in Sorrento or from Sorrento Centro station.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
