There is no better setting for a horseback ride in Abruzzo.
We are talking about the Sirente-Velino Natural Park, where our experience takes place! In this splendid natural setting, you will ride in the company of an equestrian guide who will accompany you to discover the area.
A 1-hour experience, which you can enrich with an aperitif, lunch or dinner!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Iona, in the municipality of Ovindoli (AQ). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will meet the horses. We will then proceed to saddle up, enriched by basic riding notions and useful information for a carefree experience. This first moment will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are ready to begin our horseback ride! We will ride in the beautiful setting of the Sirente-Velino Nature Park, crossing the scenic valley and venturing into the hills; there will also be a stretch of woodland. The backdrop to our ride will be the surrounding mountains, including Mount Tino and Mount Velino. The equestrian guide will lead the group on horseback and provide constant support.
After riding approximately 4 km, we will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
If the"walk + aperitif" option is purchased, an aperitif consisting of cold meats, cheeses and bruschetta topped with local products, accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink, will be waiting for us. If the"walk + lunch or dinner" option is purchased, a menu consisting of an appetiser, a first course and a second course, accompanied by drinks and followed by dessert, coffee and bitter will be waiting for us.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or with a waiver.
The experience is suitable for beginners and experts: the guide will modify the route according to the participants' riding experience.

The experience takes place from November to April and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on the number and riding experience of the participants at the guide's discretion.
