This is what you’ll experience on our horse ride in Albarea: accompanied by an equestrian guide, you’ll ride through the countryside between Venice and Padua, discovering the local flora and fauna.
An experience lasting over an hour, in the company of a new (and already favourite) adventure companion!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Albarea, a hamlet in the municipality of Pianiga (VE) . Once there, we’ll meet the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will visit the stables and get to know the horses. We will then be assigned our horses and get to know our new adventure companion: we will groom, brush, saddle (and cuddle) them. We will then head out to the paddock, mount our horses and learn the basics of riding. This part lasts approximately 20 minutes.
And now we’re ready for our horse ride: we’ll venture out into the surrounding countryside, following a flat route through open countryside. Along the way, the guide will tell us about the local flora and fauna. And on clear days, you’ll be able to enjoy panoramic views of the Pedemontana Veneta!
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point where a snack will be waiting for us: coffee and biscuits or a glass of wine and crisps, depending on the time of day.
The experience lasts approximately one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for those aged 14 and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the meeting point.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to take part.
The experience is easy and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide leads the horse on foot or rides it, holding the animal on a lead rope at their discretion. The ride takes place at a walk, but experienced riders may ask to try other gaits at the guide’s discretion.

The experience runs all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of two participants has been reached.

Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
