Explore the hills and vineyards of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on an exciting horseback ride.
In the company of expert instructors, you will have an unforgettable experience discovering the unique beauty of this area. Around you you will have the majestic backdrop of the Alps and you will get to know a very special companion, the horse.
It will be afun adventure suitable for everyone, even beginners.
What we will do
The meeting point is the stable in San Marzano Oliveto. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide. We will then familiarise ourselves and get to know the horses closely.
We will then have a quick 10-minute briefing, in which the guide will explain how to handle the horse and how to lead it. It will then be a short lesson on how best to approach this wonderful animal.
Once we have learnt the basics, we will set off on a ride through the hills of the Langhe, an incredible Unesco heritage site. We will always be in the company of the guide, who will accompany us step by step to ensure maximum safety.
The route will wind its way through a panoramic vineyard, immersed in the stupendous setting of the Alps. The pace will be at all times.
The activity lasts 1 or 2 hours, to be chosen at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 8.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
The experience is suitable for people with motor and/or non-motor disabilities: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of a disabled person and to check the feasibility of the experience.
The walk is of an easy level, also suitable for those with no horse riding experience.

Caution! To participate in this activity, you must wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes; if this requirement is not met, the activity may not take place at the guide's discretion.
The activity is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The activity can be booked all year round.
Children aged 8 to 12 years will be accompanied by the guides on ponies (maximum 2 children at a time) . Please inform us of the child's age after booking confirmation to organise the most suitable activity for the age group.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
