"Riding more with the heart' is the motto of our guide.
Join our horseback ride in Vernasca: in the company of a professional equestrian guide, you will ride in the surprising natural setting of Val Borla. In this very corner of the province of Piacenza, where man and animal coexist under the banner of eco-sustainable tourism.
An experience lasting more than 2 hours, with an aperitif stop in a farmhouse!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Vernasca (PC). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will proceed with the assignment of the steed. Each of us will have the opportunity to familiarise ourselves with our adventure companion: we will clean, brush and saddle our horse in preparation for the activity. We will then mount and learn the basics of riding, and the guide will provide all the information needed for a carefree experience. This will last approximately 30 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride in the beautiful natural setting of Val Borla, amidst open countryside and woodland; along the way we will also enjoy views of Val Stirone and Val Ongina. We will also stop for an aperitif at a farmhouse: a selection of local cured meats accompanied by homemade baked goods, with a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic drink. The guide will lead the group on horseback, providing constant support.
Still in the saddle, we will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of about 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 15 and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and is suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round.
Dogs are allowed: they can follow the walk or stay in a dedicated space. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
