"Ride more with your heart" is the motto of our guide.
Join us for our horse-riding experience in Vernasca: accompanied by a professional from the equestrian tourism sector, you’ll get to know the horse in the stunning natural setting of the Val Borla. Right here in this corner of the province of Piacenza, where people and animals live side by side in the spirit of eco-sustainable tourism.
An experience lasting over 2 hours, including an aperitif at a farmhouse!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Vernasca (PC). Waiting for us there will be the riding guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll proceed to be assigned our horses. Each of us will have the chance to get to know our adventure companion: we’ll clean, brush and saddle our horse in preparation for the activity.
We’ll then head into the arena: we’ll practise exercises on the ground and in the saddle, learning to communicate with the horse and picking up the basics of riding. The riding guide will be right by our side throughout, guiding us as we discover the world of horse riding and get to know this wonderful animal.
Finally, we’ll experience the thrill of riding in the great outdoors during a 20-minute horse ride through the stunning natural setting of the Val Borla.
Back at the meeting point, an aperitif will be waiting for us at the farmhouse: a selection of local cured meats accompanied by homemade baked goods, with a glass of wine or a soft drink.
The experience lasts approximately two and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 15 and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and is suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round.
Dogs are allowed: they can follow the walk or stay in a dedicated space. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
