Full description
Get away from the city and immerse yourself in nature with aregenerating experience on horseback. Discover the Veio Park, a few kilometres from Rome, and leave all your thoughts at home!
Our equestrian guides will accompany you on this splendid horseback ride surrounded by greenery in total peace and safety.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the Campagnano di Roma riding school, about a 40-minute drive from the capital, near the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano.
Upon arrival, the equestrian guide will welcome us and familiarise us with the horses, after which he will give us a quick briefing to explain how to ride in peace. Once this phase is over, we will mount our new friend and ride along the trails in the Veio Park.
We will be surrounded by greenery and nature, in a true oasis outside the city. We will meet grazing cows and horses and enjoy a horseback ride on simple trails suitable for everyone, even those with no previous experience.
The activity will last 1 hour in total, including an initial briefing.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone. The important thing is to be at least 5 years old and weigh no more than 100 kg.
Experience on horseback is not necessary.
Other information
The activity can be carried out all year round. For minors, the use of helmets is compulsory.
It is not possible to carry backpacks or bags on excursions. Horses are equipped with saddlebags in which to place small personal items such as mobile phones, wallets and keys.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport but a free shuttle service is available from Campagnano Romano and a paid shuttle service is available from Rome at a cost of €50.00 each way: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request the service.
