Full description
Climb into thesaddle of one of our horses and follow me along the paths of the Ivrea Five Lakes Park, starting from our didactic farm, where we have been taking care of our animals for 40 years.
You will enjoy anexperience in close contact with nature and let yourself be lulled by the peaceful pace of the animal in your care.
We will reach all 5 lakes by following a loop route surrounded by hills that offer unforgettable colours in every season. Your adventure companion is already waiting for you!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at our didactic farm in Borgofranco d'Ivrea at the time we will have agreed on when booking. If you are lucky, you will also meet the lively owner, our grandson. Here we will have a short briefing on the route and before we leave I will give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the horse that will accompany you on the walk, carrying out a trial ride.
Then we will begin the hike. After just five minutes we will be immersed in the countryside of the Cinque Laghi Park and we will enter the route that will lead us to discover all five moraine basins of the park.
We will reach Lake Campagna, an oasis of greenery and tranquillity, and the better known and larger Lake Sirio. We will also ride on the shores of Lake Pistono, which winds its way through vineyards and chestnut woods, and Lake Nero, whose wildness has inspired numerous legends. Around Lake San Michele, we will explore the vegetation that grows luxuriantly on the shores of the lake.
Once we have seen all five lakes, we will return to the farm, where we will say goodbye to our fellow adventurers. The experience lasts a total of approximately 2 hours, including briefing and test ride.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is intended for all those who already know how to ride a horse and can walk, trot and gallop. You must weigh less than 120 kg to be able to ride a horse; otherwise you can follow the route on foot or stay on the farm.
The minimum age to participate is 13.
Other information
The rides are held from Tuesday to Friday and on Sundays throughout the year, with the exception of August.
The experience takes place by practising English-style riding with long stirrups.
There is a bar at the educational farm. If you would like to add lunch or an aperitif to your walk, please contact the organiser after booking.
The meeting point is difficult to reach by public transport: contact the organiser to arrange a pick-up. There is plenty of parking available at the venue.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
