Full description
Forget the usual walk through the city centre: this time the viewpoint changes and rises up a metre and a half! If you are looking for a way to switch off and reconnect with nature, we have just the thing for you.
Take part in a 2-hour horseback ride and discover the rural landscapes of the Noveglia Valley in the company of an equestrian guide.
You will ride through ancient forests and beautiful views, with the possibility of adding an aperitif in the woods to toast this adventure. Climb into the saddle and be amazed by the beauty of the Apennines!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Bardi (PR) . Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide, who will introduce us to the horses and conduct a short briefing with us: we will learn how to approach these docile animals and how to prepare them for the saddle.
We will take a trial ride in the stables and then head straight into the dense forest of the Noveglia Valley, following paths that wind through canals and fields.
Our circular route of about 5-6 km will continue through a majestic, centuries-old chestnut grove, reducing asphalt sections to a minimum to enjoy the silence of nature. We will reach a vantage point from which we will admire the village of Noveglia from above and the picturesque Church of San Michele Arcangelo, before taking the last stretch that will lead us back to the riding stables.
Halfway along the route, if we have chosen the dedicated option, we will stop in an equipped area among the trees for an aperitif in the woods. We will sit at tables and chairs surrounded by plants to enjoy local cold meats and cheeses accompanied by spritz and soft drinks.
The experience lasts a total of about 2 hours, plus about 30 minutes for the aperitif (optional) .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horseback ride, from 14 years of age; children under 18 may participate if accompanied on site by a responsible adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
You can choose between the option with or without an aperitif when booking. Vegetarian options are available on request: please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in the booking confirmation.
Any accompanying persons not taking part in the riding can remain waiting at the stables.
Both English and American-style riding are available.
Leashed dogs are welcome on the premises.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
