Full description
Unplug for half a day and take refuge in agreen oasis a few kilometres from Rome, riding on horseback with an expert guide.
You will be immersed in the vegetation of the Parco di Veio and will ride along beautiful natural paths , enjoying an experience of absolute tranquillity.
For lunch, you will be a guest at a local agriturismo, where you will be able to taste typical products and regional specialities... because even the palate wants its share!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Campagnano di Roma, which can be reached in about 40 minutes by car from the capital, near the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano.
Upon arrival we will meet the equestrian guide who will accompany us on the tour and, if we are neophytes, we will have a short basic riding lesson. If, on the other hand, we already know how to ride, a quick introductory briefing will suffice and we will be ready to set off.
We will take a nature trail that the guide will adapt to our level. We will ride through the vegetation of the Roman countryside, discovering its colours, scents and the different animal species that populate it.
To conclude, we will stop at an agriturismo where we will be served a lunch based on local products that vary according to the season (lunch includes a full menu, excluding drinks).
In total, the activity will last about 3.5 hours, including 2 hours on horseback.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone. The important thing is to be at least 5 years old and weigh no more than 100 kg.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, even if not participating, until the end of the activity.
It is not necessary to have horse riding experience.

The activity can take place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The menu is based on products and dishes that vary according to the season (more details will be provided at the time of booking, if requested). In the event of intolerances, allergies or special dietary requirements, please send a note. Drinks are not included.
It is not possible to bring backpacks or bags on the excursion. Horses are equipped with saddlebags in which to place small personal items such as mobile phones, wallets and keys.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but a free shuttle service is available from Campagnano Romano and a paid shuttle service is available from Rome at a cost of €50.00 each way: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
