If you want to fully appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the Valdostan Alps, this 2-hour horseback ride is just the thing for you!
A local guide will accompany you through the most beautiful paths and forests of the Vetan basin, immersing you in an enchanting natural setting.
You will get in touch with nature and explore the area together with an exceptional companion. Get ready to go!
What we will do
The meeting point is 20 minutes before the selected time at the equestrian centre in Vetan, a hamlet of Saint Pierre, a beautiful municipality not far from Aosta. We will be welcomed by instructors and accompanying equestrian tourism guides, qualified and ready to introduce us to the joys of riding.
After that, we will have a briefing on the route and an introductory lesson of about 15 minutes on horse riding, which will also include looking after and preparing the horses. Then we will set off on our adventure!
We will ride along the unspoilt paths of the Vetan basin, passing through forests and characteristic hamlets. For the duration of the excursion, we will be accompanied by breathtaking landscapes, which will enchant us.
After returning to the equestrian centre, we will be able to say goodbye to our companions and watch them being looked after.
The activity will last a total of approximately 2 and a quarter hours , and the route may vary depending on the participants' level of experience or as a result of specific requests or needs (to be agreed with the guide).
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for those with a minimum of previous experience on horseback, from 8 years of age.
To participate, you must weigh a maximum of 100 kg and be less than 2 metres tall. Please inform the organisers of your weight and height along with the information requested in the "other information" section via the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
Attention. The meeting point is approximately 16 km (25 minutes by car) from the municipality of Saint Pierre and cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking spaces are available on site.
The activity takes place from October to March, even in the middle of winter and on snow.
In order to take out thedaily insurance (compulsory and included in the fee), the following information must be sent to the organiser at least 24 hours in advance: weight, height, first name, surname, date of birth, address of residence complete with postcode and province and tax code. For organisational reasons, please do not send a photo of your ID card! We ask you to provide the information to the guide with a Whatsapp message to the reference number (this will be provided to you in the booking confirmation e-mail).
Depending on the horse and the participant's experience, English or American riding will be used.
You can bring your own dog with you if it is small. Inform the guide directly a few days before the activity via the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
