Admire the landscapes of the Aosta Valley Alps on a splendid 2-hour horseback ride. A local guide will accompany you on the most beautiful trails around the villages of Saint Pierre and Saint Nicolas.
Experience a few hours close to nature, exploring forests, mountain villages and the countryside in peace . Are you ready to meet your new adventure companion?
Don't worry if you've never ridden a horse before, you'll have a short introductory lesson and can ride in peace.
What we will do
We will meet in Vetan (1800 m above sea level), a hamlet of the village of Saint Pierre(AO). The guide will welcome us and familiarise us with the horses. Afterwards, we will have a briefing on the route and a short introductory riding lesson for those who need it.
We will ride along the valley's unspoilt paths, reaching the two small villages of Saint Pierre and Saint Nicolas.
Throughout our horseback riding excursion, we will be accompanied by breathtaking views of the mountain peaks of the Aosta Valley, mountain pastures and forests that will help us regenerate and get in touch with nature.
After returning to the stables, we will be able to say goodbye to our companions and watch them being cared for. The activity has a total duration of approximately 2 hours. The route may vary according to the participants' level of experience or as a result of specific requests or needs (to be agreed with the guide).

The activity takes place throughout the year.
In order to take out thedaily insurance (compulsory and included in the fee), you are required to show your identity card and tax code to the organisation. We ask you to contact the guide in advance by Whatsapp message on the reference number (this will be provided to you by e-mail with the booking confirmation).
On request, it is possible to conduct the activity with an English-speaking guide.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
