Immerse yourself in nature with a one-and-a-half-hour horseback ride in the Gargnanese hinterland.
Just a few kilometres from Turin, immersed in the greenery of the Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre, lies the so-called 'Percorso delle Meraviglie', a beautiful 7 km nature trail on the hill of Albiano d'Ivrea.
Discover this fascinating route on horseback in the company of professional equestrian guides. You will ride through vineyards, poplar groves and streams and get in tune with an extraordinary animal.
This activity is perfect for beginners and those with their first experience on horseback.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Albiano d'Ivrea, in the province of Turin. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who will briefly explain the basic techniques for safely handling the horse during the ride.
We will ride along the "Percorso delle Meraviglie" (Path of Wonders), a 7 km ring-route that winds through the hills of Albiano d'Ivrea, among vineyards, streams and poplar groves. Along the trail, we will be able to admire the Bishop's Castle of Albiano, an ancient building constructed on the ruins of a Roman villa, and special installations, such as the giant 3:1 scale chair.
During the walk, the equestrian guides will accompany us on foot to ensure our safety and tell us some curiosities about these fascinating places.
Finally, we will calmly return to the stables. Between the initial briefing and the ride, the activity will last about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. However, children under 14 must necessarily be accompanied by a walking guide (extra cost of €10 to be selected when booking). The weight limit is 100 kg.
No experience is required, ideal for beginners and those who have never ridden a horse before.

There is the possibility of both American and English riding, but for beginners, American riding is recommended. If you have any special requirements, please inform the guide directly once you receive your booking confirmation.
