Full description
If you love nature and riding along trails, don't miss our horseback riding excursion in the Aosta Valley.
You will ride immersed in the valley's splendid landscapes, among mountains, old mule tracks, villages and castles. An equestrian guide will lead you along the 2-hour route from Saint-Vincent, in the heart of the Aosta Valley, to the suggestive Ussel Castle.
On your return to the stables, a tasting of local products will await you: what are you waiting for?
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking at the riding school in Saint-Vincent (AO).
First, I, an equestrian guide, will give you a short briefing to explain the commands and give you some tips on how to handle the horse, especially if this is your first experience. After this first introductory part, we will begin our horseback ride.
We will cross the mule track leading to Ussel Castle, which we will be able to admire from the outside. Here we will reach a vantage point that will allow us to enjoy the view of the small town of Saint-Vincent. We will maintain awalking pace and the guide will accompany us throughout the activity to ensure maximum safety.
We will be in the saddle for about 2 hours, during which we will enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Aosta Valley and discover in an original way ancient villages, mule tracks and castles where time seems to stand still.
Our return route will take us along a different path until we return to the riding stables. Here, at the end of the walk, we will enjoy a tasting of typical products including Valle d'Aosta cheese and a glass of wine from local producers.
Including briefing and stops, the horseback ride and the final tasting, the activity lasts a total of 3 hours.
