Horseback riding with aperitif in the woods in Ascoli Piceno

We are waiting for you in Ascoli Piceno for a full immersion in the beauty of the Marche region: get on the saddle and venture through woods, olive groves and panoramic viewpoints in the company of an equestrian guide.

A 2-hour adventure to end with anaperitif in an enchanted forest, where you can savour local delicacies and enjoy the regenerating silence of nature!

What we will do

We will meet at the meeting point in Ascoli Piceno (AP), 10 minutes before the indicated time.

After getting to know our guide, we will begin with an approach to the horse, about 20 minutes in which we will learn some notions about the ethology and behaviour of these splendid animals. We will then get on the saddle and prepare to go out for a walk.

We will take a leisurely circuit, venturing at pace along dirt tracks, olive groves and woods around Ascoli Piceno. During the ride, we will be able to admire a view of the city from above and, in the distance, theSan Marco hermitage, the rock formation known as Dito del Diavolo (Devil's Finger), the sea and the peaks of Mount Vettore and Mount Ascensione.

The route will present some unevenness, which we will be able to tackle calmly thanks to the guide, who will accompany us on foot , holding the horse with the lunge until we feel in full control of the animal and our emotions.

On returning from the walk, an aperitif with typical products will await us in an "enchanted" wood: we will enjoy delicacies such as cold meats, cheeses, olives and cremini all'ascolana with local wine, immersed in the silence of nature.

The activity will last a total of 2 hours, including briefing, walk and aperitif.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for ages 14 and up. Any minors must be accompanied to the riding stables by an adult, but can participate in the activity on their own.

The experience is ideal as a first horse ride.

The maximum weight for participation is 110 kg.

The activity takes place all year round.

The mount used is the English one.

The nearest bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away; upon request, the guide is available to pick participants up free of charge at the bus stop. To reach the facility by car, it is necessary to drive along a stretch of uneven road surface.

Any accompanying persons may remain at the facility during the activity; dogs on a leash are welcome in the riding stables.
