Approach the magical world of horseriding, discover an exciting and fun activity such as horse trekking and get in tune with a special animal that can become your best friend and help you discover the world from a new perspective.
A horseback ride in the Apennines on the border between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany is an excellent idea for taking your first steps in the saddle, spending an hour in close contact with nature and visiting Fiumalbo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
You will be accompanied by expert guides who will teach you how to approach the horse in the best possible way and take you for a ride along truly suggestive paths. Are you ready to take up the reins?
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Fiumalbo (MO), a municipality at the foot of Mount Cimone, included in the circuit of The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy for its scenic value. We will be about 1,000 metres above sea level, immersed in the green woods and quiet of theTuscan-Emilian Apennines, with its enchanting views.
First of all, we will get to know the guides and the horses, and we will learn how to relate to the animals in the most correct and respectful way, trying to establish a good harmony right from the start. We will learn the basics of proper 'country' riding, i.e. the practice of riding outside the fence, on ancient rural paths and along wooded ridges.
We will not stray too far from the stables, and the route we take will be commensurate with our level and the confidence we show on horseback. In any case, it will be anexperience of nature and tranquillity. The activity lasts a total of 1 hour, including the initial theoretical briefing.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and open to everyone from 14 years of age. It is particularly suitable as a first horse riding experience.

Attention! Report to the riding school at least 15 minutes in advance.
This activity can be done all year round, subject to guide availability and weather conditions.
After booking, you must tell the guide your weight, height and level of experience so that the horse best suited to your needs can be reserved for you.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
