Full description
Join us for a half-dayriding adventure in the hills of Bologna and the Reno valley.
Climb into the saddle and let us guide you along dirt paths and enchanting landscapes surrounded by greenery. You will reach a little corner of paradise where you can swim, sunbathe and, why not, take a nice bath together with your horse!
And after the bath, a delicious picnic with tigelle, local cheeses and cool drinks to enjoy by the river with your new companions.

What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the riding school in Vergato (BO) where we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide.
If we wish, we will be able to arrive a few minutes early to saddle and prepare the horse, immediately connecting with it; otherwise, we will find the horse already saddled and ready to go out for a ride.
Before leaving, we will spend about 10 minutes in the arena where we will learn the basic commands for handling the horse and, once in the saddle, we will begin the 1-hour ride through the beautiful hilly landscapes. Depending on our level of experience, we will alternate between awalking pace and short trotting or galloping sections.
Halfway along the route, we will reach the banks of the Rhine River, where we will stop for a break of about 2 hours. Here we will have plenty of time to relax, swim in the cool waters of the river and, if we wish, bathe together with the horses.
We will then enjoy a delicious picnic with local products such as cold cuts, tigelle, sandwiches, cheese and drinks such as water or beer, all included!
After relaxing and recharging our batteries, we will get back in the saddle for the 1-hour horseback ride back to the stables. The experience lasts a total of about 4 hours, including 2 hours spent on horseback and 2 hours spent at the river.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 14 and a maximum weight of 110 kg. Previous experience on horseback is not required.

The activity can take place from May to September.
The meeting place can be reached either by car or public transport.
The picnic is included in the fee; the menu includes typical products such as cold cuts, tigelle, sandwiches with local cheeses and cold cuts from the area, water or beer. There are unfortunately no menu variations for those with food intolerances or allergies.
The mount used may be English or American.
