An escape into nature at a short distance from the city.
This is what awaits you by taking part in our horseback ride in Pianoro: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will venture into the hills of Bologna to discover the flora and fauna that inhabit the area.
A 1-hour experience, taking refuge in the green!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pianoro (BO). On site, we will meet the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will get acquainted and proceed with the assignment of the horse. We will familiarise ourselves with our new companion by brushing and saddling him. We will then ride in the field and learn the basics of riding. The guide will provide all useful information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the splendid natural setting of Pianoro, riding among chestnut trees, oaks and along clay ridges known as the "Bolognese badlands". Along the way we will be able to observe the local flora and fauna including birds, squirrels and foxes.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience lasts about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 4 and up. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the walk.
Children from 4 to 13 years of age are accompanied by a guide who leads the horse on foot with a harness. Participants aged 14 and over ride the horse independently.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide leads on foot or on horseback at his or her own discretion. The walk takes place at a walking pace.

The experience takes place from March to December.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
