Do you feel the sea air? The sea breeze as you watch the sea from the saddle of your horse?
Take part in our ride that combines the uncontaminated charm of the Castelporziano pine forest with the natural beauty of Ostia beach: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride for about 2 hours through shady paths, where the scent of pine mixes with the salty scent of the sea.
And if you have selected the option with an aperitif, on your return you will be able to recharge your batteries with a tasty local cheese board!
What we will do
We will meet at the stables in Castelporziano (RM), where we will first meet the equestrian guide and then get to know the horse that will accompany us on the ride. A caress to our equine friend and a short briefing on the basic rules of horse management and instructions for English riding... and off we go!
We will head straight into the Castelporziano pine forest, a small treasure chest of biodiversity just a stone's throw from Rome. During the walk, we will listen to the many stories that our guide will tell us about this pine forest and the flora and fauna of the place. Along the way, we will see Pliny's villa, a fascinating archaeological find to be admired. The only bastion of civilisation, the rest of the tour is a succession of natural views that we will be able to admire on horseback.
We will then ride closer and closer to the sea at Ostia, among the trunks and trunks of the trees the blue becomes more and more dominant. We will cross the pine forest to reach the beach, where we will be lulled by the sea breeze. We will stop for a moment to enjoy nature and its immensity. We and the horses will rest and try to soak our feet before returning to the saddle and, finally, to the stables.
If the"walk + aperitif" option is purchased, on returning to the riding stables we will be greeted by an aperitif comprising a cheese and cold cuts platter and assorted snacks accompanied by a glass of wine, a cocktail or a non-alcoholic drink to toast this experience together!
The activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under 14 will be accompanied by a dedicated guide on the ground.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate in the activity.

If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
