Full description
Spend a day in the company of a very special friend: the horse! Mount up and immerse yourself in the nature of the Lurisia valley, in Roccaforte Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo.
You will ride along mule tracks and woodland paths as far as Lake Pianfei where you can relax, lie down on the grass and have a picnic, looking for some deer and roe deer.
Let yourself be lulled by the rhythmic pace of the horse and enjoy a day in the green, far from the daily routine. You will come out regenerated in body and spirit!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the riding school in Lurisia Terme, a hamlet of Roccaforte Mondovì (CN), 15 minutes before the time selected when booking. Here we will meet our equestrian guide who, before setting off, will hold a briefing for us on riding techniques.
The first part of the excursion will be on an asphalt road and then continue on a dirt track to Candele. Here we will take a mule track that will lead us to the Morté pass, where we will cross a chestnut forest to reach, after a couple of hours, the pretty Pianfei Lake. Here we will be able to relax on the shores of the lake and have a picnic in the picnic area.
Once we have regained our energy, we set off again to enter the forest. Between ascents and descents, we will pass through the quiet hamlets of Garavagna and Bonada, until we return to Lurisia after an experience lasting a total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open for ages 14 and up.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your weight.
The experience is of medium difficulty and reserved for riders who know how to handle the horse independently (starting, braking, directing the animal); the ride will take place at pace.
