Here it is, after 600 km of impetuous flowing, the Po arrives proudly in its Delta Park. If you are not familiar with this place, know that it is an authentic natural wonder that deserves a slow and conscious visit. And what better way than with a horseback ride?
This is not just any old ride, but an equestrian adventure designed for those who already have a minimum of riding experience and wish to immerse themselves completely in nature for 2 unforgettable hours.
Imagine taking a little trip back in time, getting in tune with the animal, mounting in the saddle and riding through the paths of the Park and along thebank of the Po before it flows into the sea.
What we will do
We will meet at the estate in Taglio di Po (RO), where we will be welcomed by the staff, who will immediately take us into an atmosphere of another era. After introductions, we will go to the stable to get to know the horse.
After preparing the animal and a brief moment to get in tune with him, we will mount the horse. Based on our experience, the equestrian guide will choose the best route within the estate and the Po Delta Park.
Wewill ride immersed in the nature of the Park, admiring the villa, the characteristic cottages and a small church from the 17th century, as well as the beautiful National Park, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If the guide allows it, we can ride short distances at a trot or gallop.
In addition, we will be able to approach thebank of the Po, which is proudly about to conclude its long journey into the nearby Adriatic Sea, whose salty scent we will already smell.
At the end of the ride we will return to the stable to say goodbye to our friend after about two hours of experience.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at those who already have a minimum of experience on horseback. No federal card or licence is required, but being able to handle the horse independently and mastering at least thegait at pace is required.

The meeting place is not easily accessible by public transport; we recommend arriving by car.
