The scent of the sea, olive trees or... a rich Apulian aperitif?
These are the ingredients of our horseback ride in the Gargano National Park: in the company of an instructor and equestrian guide, you will ride along a scenic route immersed in the Gargano nature. On your return, you will find a genuine tasting of typical products waiting for you.
An experience of over 1 hour, discovering the territory in (and with) all the senses!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in San Nicandro Garganico (FG). Awaiting us will be theinstructor and equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the horses and mount the saddle. The instructor will not fail to explain the basics of horse riding and provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience. This first moment will last 10 minutes.
And here we are ready to begin our horseback ride: we will ride through the beautiful scenery of the Gargano National Park, crossing the unspoilt and silent Mediterranean scrub. We will take a scenic route framed by olive trees, with views of the Gargano hills, Lake Lesina, Lake Varano and the Tremiti Islands. The guide will lead the group on horseback or on foot according to the participants' needs.
We will finally return to the meeting point where we will find a tasting of typical products waiting for us: cold meats, cheeses, pickles, rustic cakes and other local delicacies depending on the availability of the day. In any case, it will always be a hearty aperitif as Puglia teaches!
The experience will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 4; children under 13 are led by a guide on the ground. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall.
A maximum weight of 95 kg is required to participate. Those who do not meet the weight requirement will not be allowed to participate in the experience at the guide's discretion.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The excursion takes place all year round.
Duration may vary according to the number and experience of participants at the guide's discretion.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
