You don't need a holiday! All you need to recharge your batteries is 1 hour in nature on horseback!
With this horseback ride in the Gran Sasso National Park, you can leave your routine behind and immerse yourself in enchanting scenery. You will discover the charm of one of Italy's clearest rivers, the Tirino River, and relax in the quiet surroundings.
A regenerating adventure in the heart of Abruzzo!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Bussi sul Tirino (PE) . Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
We will begin with the preparation of the horses and a theoretical and practical briefing: we will learn the basic commands both on the ground and in the saddle, doing a couple of laps in the paddock to gain confidence. Once we are ready, we will begin our horseback ride, following a circular route of approximately 5 km, with an elevation gain of 100 metres.
We will venture along the banks of the Tirino river and, as we ride, the guide will show us the wonders of the Gran Sasso National Park, giving us enchanting views.
We will finally return to the equestrian centre, enjoying the last moments of this dreamlike scenery. This will be the perfect opportunity to chat and enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the park before saying goodbye.
The activity will last a total of 1. 5 hours, of which approximately 1 hour will be spent in the saddle.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 14. Children under the age of 18 may participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate. Remember to contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to inform them of your weight in advance.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first horse ride.

The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. However, the guide is available for a possible pick-up of participants from the village centre, where several buses stop. Leashed dogs are allowed inside the riding stables and, if well-behaved, can follow the group during the excursion.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
