Take part in a half-day horse riding excursion in the heart of the Apennines in Campania!
You will ride on country paths with panoramic views in an atmosphere of harmony and relaxation, in tune with the environment and with an extraordinary animal.
This is an experience designed for those who already have some riding experience and want to discover a fascinating area rich in ancient traditions in an original way. Get ready to climb into the saddle!
What we will do
We will be in San Marco dei Cavoti, in the province of Benevento. Equestrian guides will welcome us and familiarise us with the horses , and before we mount, we will have a short briefing to go over the basic riding techniques.
Departing from the stable, we will leave the borders of the village to climb the surrounding mountains and enjoy a wide panoramic view of the Campania hinterland, the Partenio and Taburno mountains, and the more distant Matese massif.
We will ride on dirt tracks and country roads, crossing woods and cultivated fields in a setting where nature and tranquillity prevail. There will be no lack of stops to take souvenir photos and get some rest if necessary.
On returning to the stable, we will be presented with samples of cosmetics made from locally produced mare's milk . In total, the activity will last about four hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open from the age of 18.
This activity requires significant physical effort, so it is not suitable for beginners. A minimum of experience on horseback is required, such as having already ridden or taken riding lessons.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
