Breathe in the fresh air at high altitude and be lulled by the sound of hooves as you enjoy a unique experience. This horseback ride in the mountains of Madesimo will make you rediscover the beauty of contact with nature.
Climb into the saddle for 1 or 2 hours, depending on the duration you prefer, and ride in the company of an equestrian guide through paths and alpine pastures.

What we will do
We will meet in Madesimo (SO), at our riding school over 1,700 metres above sea level. After a short briefing to make sure you are comfortable in the saddle, we will begin our adventure through the beautiful valley floor.
During the one-hour ride, we will be completely immersed in unspoilt nature as the horses take us on a magical journey through the mountains of Madesimo. Pastures, paths, streams and a crystal-clear sky will provide the backdrop for our leisurely ride, which is also suitable for beginners.
If you have chosen the 2-hour ride, after the section at the bottom of the valley we will continue on to the enchanting Alpe Andossi, situated at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. Here, we will look out over alpine pastures and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view, framed by the imposing peaks of the surrounding mountains. The landscape will give us a sense of peace and wonder as the wind caresses our faces.
At the end of our 1 to 2-hour walk , we will return to the stables.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, from the age of 8 and upwards and a maximum weight of 95 kg.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent up to the age of 11. From the age of 12 and up, they can participate on their own with a signed waiver.
Previous experience on horseback is not required , as the ride can be adapted to the level of the participants.
Other information
The walk is available from mid-June to mid-September.
When booking, you can choose between a "1-hour" or a "2-hour" walk. If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with the activity of shorter duration.
English or American saddles are available.
