Get on horseback, here on the Serio!
Ride 7 km of trails in the Serio Nature Park, in the province of Bergamo, and admire how the landscape changes with the seasons. Placid and silent banks in winter days, an explosion of colours in autumn and spring, a hopping of rabbits in summer...
Each time of year brings its own touch of magic. Enjoy an hour and a half of horse riding and recharge your batteries in contact with nature.
What we will do
The meeting point is Capannelle (BG), 10 minutes before the indicated time for the ride.
On arrival we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who will give a briefing of about 30 minutes. We will do a first part in the field to gain confidence in the saddle, get in tune with our horse and learn the main commands.
We will then leave the stables and immerse ourselves in the trails of the Serio Park at a leisurelypace. An approximately 7 km route will take us along the banks of the river, until we reach the ford that will allow the horses and their riders to enter the calm, cool waters of the Serio (river conditions permitting).
The landscape undergoes an incredible transformation at the turn of the seasons: in winter we can admire the almost lunar landscape of the banks, in the silence broken only by the flowing water, while in spring the blossoming of nature will transform it into an explosion of colours.
Towardssummer , the wild rabbit pups that inhabit the park begin to emerge from their burrows, and at dusk we will witness a cheerful swarming and hopping in the meadows that we cross on horseback. In autumn, trees and meadows will be tinged with red, gold, yellow and orange.
Always a new experience, thanks to the charm of the unspoilt nature of the Serio Natural Park!
The activity will last approximately 2 hours, including a half-hour briefing and 1.5 hours in the saddle.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is suitable for everyone from the age of 18.
No experience is required: you just need to be in good physical shape and weigh no more than 110 kg.
Other information
The walk can be done all year round, every day except Tuesdays, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.
American, English or trekking saddles are available for the activity.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; ample parking is available for those arriving by car.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the riding school during the activity. There is a small refreshment point with vending machines on site. Leashed dogs are also permitted.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
