Full description
Did you know that Lake Bolsena is the largest volcanic lake in Europe? Would you like to explore it in an original way with our 1-hour horseback ride?
Together with an equestrian guide, you will ride along an easy route suitable for everyone that will give you the most spectacular views of the area, including unforgettable glimpses of Lake Bolsena.
What are you waiting for? Hop on the saddle and let yourself be conquered by this splendid corner of Lazio.
What we will do
We will meet with the guide at the riding school in Bolsena (VT) about 15 minutes before the time selected during the booking process.
We will begin with a briefing in which we will learn about the horse and how to communicate with him. This is a fundamental step in creating a relationship of harmony and respect with our companion.
We will then set off on a ride through the enchanting countryside between Tuscany and Lazio, where we will enjoy the colours and scents of nature.
This itinerary of about 5 km will give us a view that will leave us spellbound close to the Via Francigena, the ancient road that connected Rome to Canterbury, travelled by pilgrims, merchants and travellers. We will be able to see Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe, and the surrounding countryside, stretching as far as the horizon.
The activity lasts a total of 1 hour, including a briefing, and ends with the return to the riding school.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone, aged 14 and over.
A maximum weight of 130 kg is required for the activity.
