What could be better than a horseback ride? A horseback ride with lunch!
All just 1 hour from the centre of Rome, in the beautiful natural setting of the Veio Park and the Park of the Two Lakes. Lake Bracciano, whose panorama we enjoy, and Lake Martignano, where we stop for a swim and lunch on the shore.
A total of 6 hours on horseback and 8 hours of experience, a day in nature close to the capital!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 1 hour before the indicated time at the meeting point in Campagnano di Roma (RM). I will be there, your equestrian guide in this experience, to welcome you to my riding school; and of course my beloved horses!
Upon your arrival, I will hand over yourequipment and support you in the saddle. Together, we will venture along a wooded trail in the Veio Park and Park of the Two Lakes: after about 15 km in 3 hours, we will reach the shores of Lake Martignano; from here we will also be able to catch a glimpse of Lake Bracciano.
We will stop on the shores of Lake Martignano for about 2 hours. In this beautiful natural setting we will have the opportunity to dive in (literally, whoever wants to can swim!) and enjoy a lunch (included) of grilled meat and vegetables prepared by the nearby kiosk. Drinks are not included.
We will then get back in the saddle to return, after about 15 km covered in 3 hours. We will arrive at the riding school after a total of 6 hours riding and 8 hours of nature experience near Rome!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight limit for participation is 90 kg.
This walk is accessible for beginners.
Other information
The walk takes place from May to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The experience takes place subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
