Imagine riding on the shores of a mountain lake. And now imagine turning this fantasy into reality!
During this horseback ride, you will ride on the shores of Lake Mezzola, between the mountains of Valchiavenna and Valtellina. In the company of a riding guide, you will meet the horses, learn basic riding techniques and venture onto the Samolaco plain, amidst the colours and scents of cultivated fields.
An excursion of about 1 hour at the end of which you will never want to get out of the saddle!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the time selected when booking at the meeting point in Samolaco, in the province of Sondrio. We will be welcomed by our guide together with his horses kept in the wild, to which we will become attached during the excursion.
Before mounting the horse, the guide will give us an explanation of basic riding techniques including how to start, how to steer and how to brake the horse. We will then all be ready to climb into the saddle and ride along a roughly one-hour route that will take us to the shore of Lake Mezzola, nestled between the mountains of Valtellina and Valchiavenna.
It will be a moment to regenerate in contact with nature, admiring the emerald waters of the lake in which we will also be able to ride our steed! The guide will lead us on foot , holding the horses with a harness and providing constant support during the experience.
We will then return to our starting point. The excursion will last approximately 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate with a signed authorisation from a parent.
A maximum weight of 80 kg is required to participate.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.

The experience takes place all year round.
The itinerary may vary depending on weather and road conditions at the guide's discretion.
The guide leads participants on foot with a harness. In the case of experienced participants, it will be possible to request to ride independently after a 15-minute field test (the total duration of the experience will therefore be 1 hour 15 minutes).
Saddles for American and English riding are available.
Youmust wear a T-shirt, long trousers and trainers; shorts, skirts and sandals are not suitable for the experience.
It is required to leave backpacks, bags and fanny packs in the car, as they are not allowed during the ride.
Mobile phone use is not permitted during the activity or silent mode is required to immerse yourself as much as possible in the experience.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
