Take part in our horseback ride in Samolaco: in the company of an equestrian guide you will ride on the shores of Lake Mezzola, framed by the mountains of Valchiavenna and Valtellina.
A 1-hour experience to reconnect with nature!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Samolaco (SO) . On site, we will meet the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all participants, we will meet the horses and proceed with the assignment. We will then mount the saddle and learn the basics of riding; the guide will provide all the necessary information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride through beautiful natural scenery until we reach the shores of Lake Mezzola, nestled between the mountains of Valtellina and Valchiavenna. And if the temperatures allow, we will also be able to get into the water on our paws!
We will finally return to the meeting point. The excursion lasts a total of approx. 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
A maximum weight of 80 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride. The guide accompanies on foot and leads the animal with a halter; experienced riders may request to ride independently after a 15-minute field trial (the total duration of the experience will therefore be 1 hour and 15 minutes) . The horseback ride takes place at the pace.

Caution. You must wear a T-shirt, long trousers and trainers; shorts, skirts and sandals are not allowed. If the clothing requirement is not met, the experience may not take place and no reimbursement will be given at the guide's discretion.
The experience takes place all year round.
The itinerary may vary according to weather and road conditions at the guide's discretion.
Backpacks, bags and fanny packs are not allowed during the experience; please leave them in your car.
Mobile phone use is not permitted during the experience and silent mode is required.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
