Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and go for a horseback ride to Lake Viverone, a magical place just a few kilometres from Turin.
From Azeglio you will ride for about three hours in the tranquillity of the shores of the lake, over which many stories and legends hover. You will experience the thrill of entering the water on horseback, having fun together with your new companion.

What we will do
The appointment is in Albiano d'Ivrea, in the province of Turin. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who will introduce us to the splendid horses at the stables. Before setting off on the ride, the guide will briefly explain the basic techniques for safely handling the horse.
We will set off in the direction of Lake Viverone, an evocative place famous for the stories and legends surrounding it. The history of the lake is linked to the remains of a sunken village dating back to the Bronze Age.
Legend has it that the village had sunk due to the lack of generosity of the inhabitants, who had refused to accommodate St Martin. Since that day, it is said that when the wind blows hard, the tolling of the bells of the sunken church of St Martin can be heard.
We will ride for about an hour and a half through the greenery until we arrive along the shores of the lake, where we can also observe the remains of the pile-dwelling village. If the guide agrees, we will also be able to enter the waters of the lake on horseback: it will be an incredible thrill.
On the one-and-a-half-hour return journey, we will pass a panoramic road to admire the moraine land and the splendid Bishop's Castle from the outside.
Finally, we calmly return to the riding stables. Between the initial briefing and the ride, the activity will last approximately 3 hours.
If the"ride + aperitif" option is selected, a platter of local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage will be served on the return trip.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 14. The accompaniment of an adult over 18 is not required for minors.
No experience is required, ideal for beginners and those who have never ridden a horse before. The weight limit is 100 kg.

The riding is both American and English-style, but for beginners, American-style riding is recommended. If you have special requirements, please inform the guide directly once you receive your booking confirmation.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
