Full description

Let yourself be conquered by the beauty and flavours of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a2-hour horseback riding excursion with an aperitif in a farmhouse.

From San Marzano Oliveto, in the province of Asti, you will ride through scenic vineyards and breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by the majestic backdrop of the Alps. Finally, you will enjoy an aperitif with cold meats, cheeses and local wines at a local agriturismo.

The activity is suitable for beginners and first-time riders: professional equestrian guides will accompany you on this wonderful adventure.

What we will do

The meeting point is at the riding school in San Marzano Oliveto, where we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide. We will then familiarise ourselves and get to know the splendid horses closely.

We will then have a quick 10-minute briefing, in which the guide will explain how to handle the horse and how to lead it. It will be a short lesson on how best to approach this fantastic animal.

Once we have learned the basics, we will set off on a ride through the hills of the Langhe, a Unesco heritage site.

The route will wind through a panoramic vineyard, immersed in the stupendous setting of the Alps. We will always be in the company of the guide, who will accompany us on foot during the walk to ensure maximum safety.

We will then arrive at an agritourism with an adjoining riding stables, where an appetising aperitif with a platter of cold meats and cheeses, accompanied by two glasses of Piedmontese wines, will await us.

The walk lasts about 2 hours and ends with the return to the riding school; the experience lasts a total of about 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 14.

A maximum weight of 150 kg is required to participate.

The walk is of an easy level, also suitable for those with no horse riding experience.
