Full description
Participate in a 1-hour basic riding lesson for beginners and all those approaching horses for the first time.
This is aunique experience, specially designed to put even those who approach horses with fear in a relaxed and safe manner. Thanks to experienced equestrian guides, you will learn how to handle the horse independently.
You will fall in love with our horses and our beautiful Valgraziosa , immersed in the green Monti Pisani.
What we will do
The appointment is in Calci, in the province of Pisa. An instructor or equestrian guide will be waiting for us, who will introduce us to the splendid trained horses.
Our first experience (or retraining, for those who have not ridden a horse for some time) consists of a theoretical lesson, in which we will be explained the basic commands of the horse as well as all safety notions, and a practical lesson on horseback, to try and learn how to manoeuvre the horse safely.
Throughout the experience we will be accompanied by an experienced instructor who will guide us from the ground, ready to intervene if necessary. In this way we will be able to learn the basic commands in total safety.
Finally, we will take a trail around the ranch to get in tune with the horse.
The activity lasts a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is perfect for those who have never ridden a horse (or have not ridden for a long time), to learn how to handle the horse and enjoy a safe ride.
The minimum age for participation is 7 years.
Children under the age of 14 may not ride on public roads but may participate in the activity and ride the horse independently. Minors require authorisation signed by their parents.
Other information
Important: arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
The experience includes a field test. If the guide feels that the participants are not able to cope with the course due to their ability and experience, an experience of similar duration but of reduced difficulty will be agreed.
It is forbidden to wear hats, scarves, backpacks, bags, long, fluttering jackets, rings and necklaces on horseback.
Onrequest, a shuttle service is available within 30 km to reach the facility (max. 6 persons). The cost varies according to distance: contact the organisers after booking confirmation to arrange this option.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
