Discover the magic of a horse ride in Campodolcino, amongst the mountains of the Spluga Valley in the province of Sondrio.
This adventure is designed to offer you an hour of pure relaxation, suitable for the whole family, including the little ones, who can enjoy their first ride under the watchful eye of an equestrian guide.
Our gentle horses will be your faithful companions on this nature walk, through woods and past streams, accompanied by the chirping of birds along the peaceful Sentiero dei Lamponi!
What we will do
We’ll meet in Campodolcino (SO) at the time chosen for the ride. The riding instructor will welcome us to the riding school and assign us our horses.
After a brief theory session, during which we’ll learn how to sit in the saddle and give commands to the horse, we’ll set off on our ride. We’ll immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Campodolcino mountains, riding along a flat route, perfect for fully enjoying the landscape and letting ourselves be lulled by the gentle flow of the streams and the coolness of the woods.
We’ll follow the Sentiero dei Lamponi, an enchanting route surrounded by lush, fragrant nature, where time seems to stand still. The guide will stay close by throughout the activity to ensure our safety and peace of mind.
As we ride amongst the peaks of the Spluga Valley, we’ll feel completely revitalised, at one with the horses and the natural world around us.
At the end of our horse ride, we’ll return to the ranch; the activity will last one hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 8 and over, with a maximum weight of 95 kg.
Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent, whilst those aged 12 and over may take part on their own provided they have a signed consent form.
No experience is required, and this activity is ideal as a first horse ride.
Other information
The ride takes place during the summer months, from mid-July to mid-September.
Saddles for English or American-style riding are available.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
