Full description
Saddle up on a horse to explore the Monti della Tolfa area. You will discover the unspoilt nature of these territories, arriving as far as Manziana and Pian Curiano.
You will ride for 2 hours through green pastures, woods and streams, admiring suggestive Etruscan tombs and horses in the wild. An equestrian guide will accompany you along the entire route, to ensure your comfort and safety (even if you already know how to pace and trot!).

What we will do
The appointment will take place 15 minutes before the time selected during the booking process in Bracciano (RM). On our arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will introduce us to the magnificent trained horses.
We will then have a 15-minute brief ing in which we will be given all the useful information for the excursion, dedicated to participants who already have horse riding experience and know how to walk and trot.
After that, we will be ready to set off on our walk. We will explore the beautiful countryside at the foot of the Tolfa Mountains, dotted with pastures of cows and horses and the remains of the Etruscan civilisation, including two tombs known as the Pero and the Torara.
We ride to Manziana, one of the villages in the Bracciano Park. The town is best known for the fountain, attributed to Vignola, that graces Piazza Tittoni. This is the heart of Manziana, where the 16th-century Palazzo Tittoni also stands.
We then reach one of the most unspoilt areas in the area: Pian Curiano. A marvellous wooded handkerchief between the municipalities of Tolfa and Manziana, where we will admire the clear mountain streams, ancient trees and herds of horses.
We will return to the stables after a two-hour walk.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 16.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate. The participant must not be overweight and/or have mobility problems.
Experience on horseback is required to participate in this excursion: this means being able to handle the horse, being able to walk and trot. In the event that the experience requirement is not met, the activity may not take place and will not be reimbursed.
Other information
Horse riding takes place all year round.
Long trousers must be worn to carry out the experience, otherwise the guide reserves the right not to carry out the activity.
There is a bar andpicnic area on the ranch where you can stop.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
