Join us for an exciting horseback ride in Val Noveglia, in theParma Apennines.
You will ride for two hours in the company of an equestrian guide, who will lead you to discover the Noveglia woods.
You will get in tune with a docile and wonderful animal and enjoy a delicious aperitif in the middle of the woods to recharge your batteries. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
What we will do
We will be in Noveglia, a hamlet in the municipality of Bardi, in the province of Parma. We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who, after introducing us to the horses at the stables, will hold a briefing in which he will explain how to ride a horse and how to approach the animal.
We will then be ready to mount the saddle and set off on our ride. We will first ride along a paved road and then reach the Noveglia forest. Here we will ride completely immersed in nature until we reach a viewpoint where we can admire Noveglia from above. Next, we will take a path that runs alongside the church of San Michele Arcangelo.
Finally, we will have an aperitif in the woods at a picnic area. Here the guide will stop to let us off the horse and enjoy delicious typical products from the Ca' Marchesini farm.
Return to the stables is scheduled approximately 2 hours after the start time of the activity.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is aimed at everyone from the age of 7.
No previous horse riding experience is required, and the walk is also suitable for beginners.
Other information
The walk takes place every day of the year and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.
The aperitif in the forest (or on the return to the riding school) is included in the fee and includes cold meats, savoury pies, crostini, water and wine prepared by a local farm. Vegetarian options are available for the aperitif on request: please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in the booking confirmation.
If there are people with some previous horse riding experience participating, you can try trotting and not just pacing.
On the day of the activity, you can choose whether to ride English or American style.
