Discover the world of horseback riding with a ride in Val Noveglia, a fairytale land in the Apennines near Parma.
An equestrian guide will teach you how to ride a horse and accompany you into the forest where you can ride while breathing fresh, clean air.
You will come into contact with a docile and wonderful animal to which you will become attached after just a few minutes spent in tune.
What we will do
The meeting is in Noveglia, a hamlet in the municipality of Bardi, in the province of Parma. Here we will meet the equestrian guides and horse friends who will accompany us on the walk.
Together with the guides, we will hold a briefing, during which we will be explained the best way to approach large equines and how to prepare them for the walk.
Afterwards, we will mount the saddle and begin to follow a simple route. We will first cross an asphalt road and then ride into the woods of the Noveglia Valley, where we will also try our hand at some simple ascents and descents. During the tour we will maintain awalking pace.
We will reach a viewpoint where we can see the village of Noveglia from above and then reach the Church of San Michele Arcangelo. We will walk the last stretch back to the riding stables, where we can say goodbye and thank our new friends for having accompanied us on apleasant and relaxing experience in close contact with nature.
When booking, you can choose either the 1-hour or the 2-hour walk.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at everyone from 7 years of age. No previous experience on horseback is required: the tour is also suitable for beginners.
Other information
The rides take place every day of the year and are confirmed with a minimum of 2 people.
Both English and American style rides are available.
When booking, before selecting the date and time, you can choose whether to apply for the 1-hour or the 2-hour ride. Both are suitable for beginners.
