Join our horseback ride in Ostia Antica: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the beautiful (and silent) scenery of the Roman Littoral Nature Reserve. All just a few kilometres away from the centre of the eternal (and noisy) capital.
An experience of over 1 hour, which you can enrich with an aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia Antica (RM). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will get to know the horses. We will lead our steed into the field and proceed with riding and learning the basics of horse riding. The guide will provide all the necessary information for a carefree experience. This moment will last approximately 20 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Litorale Romano Nature Reserve, riding through the open countryside crossed by the Tiber River. Despite the short distance from the centre of the capital, we will find ourselves immersed in a beautiful (and silent) natural setting! The guide will lead the group on horseback; the ride will last about 1 hour.
We will then return to the meeting point where, if the"walk + aperitif" option is selected, a toast of spritz, prosecco or beer accompanied by chips, olives and other savoury snacks will be waiting for us.
The experience will last a total of 1½ to 2 hours depending on the option selected.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 15. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 110 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

Dogs are not allowed.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
