A naturalistic adventure just a few steps from Rome?
You can, by participating in our horseback ride in Ostia: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will venture into the natural setting of the Castel Fusano pine forest, riding through the characteristic vegetation.
An experience of more than 1 hour, dedicated to nature and animals!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia (RM) . Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will proceed with the assignment of Friesian and Spanish horses. We will then enter the field, mount the saddle and learn the basics of riding. The guide will provide all useful information for a carefree experience. This first moment will last about 15 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Castel Fusano pine forest, a splendid natural setting just a few steps from the capital. We will ride through the characteristic vegetation, immersed in the colours and scents of this corner of Rome! The guide will lead the group on horseback or on foot according to the participants' needs; the horseback ride will take place at the pace.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour, 1½ hours or 2 hours, depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 5 years of age. Children aged 5 to 13 years ride on a pony or horse at the guide's discretion and will be led on foot by a dedicated guide. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
The experience requires a maximum weight of 90 kg.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
