Have you ever thought of horseback riding through the paths of a historic estate to discover the magic of the Po Delta Park?
This 2-hour horseback adventure will take you through fascinating landscapes, in the heart of one of Italy's richest and most diverse ecosystems. You will savour the silence and peace of this enchanting place, connecting deeply with the nature that surrounds you.
Not only will you feel like you are taking a little trip back in time, but you will also experience the thrill of mounting a saddle for the first time and getting close to this splendid animal thanks to the advice of equestrian guides, getting in tune with it.
What we will do
We will meet at the estate in Taglio di Po (RO), where we will be welcomed by the staff, made up of Italian Equestrian Sports Federation technicians, who will immediately take us into an atmosphere of another era. After introductions, we will go to the stable to get to know the horse.
Thanks to experienced equestrian guides, you will learn how to communicate with the animal, starting with the intimate gesture of grooming. This special moment will not only allow you to get in tune with the animal but also to understand the importance of care and attention towards it.
The first part of the dialogue and preparation will last about an hour. Once mutual trust has been gained, it will be time to climb into the saddle. We will then become familiar with English riding by practising the necessary movements. In addition, we will perfect our commands,balance and understand how to handle the most common situations during the ride.
We will ride for about 45 minutes in the Po Delta Park, following the instructions of the guide who will accompany us throughout the excursion. As we ride along the trails we will be able to admire the villa, the characteristic cottages and a small church from the 17th century, as well as the beautiful National Park, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At the end of the tour we will return to the stable to say goodbye to our horse friend after about 2 hours of experience.

The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. No previous horse riding experience is required.
