Full description
Set off on a fantastic 2-hour horseback ride to Prato Nevoso. It will be the perfect opportunity to discover unique scenery in Piedmont thanks to equestrian tourism and come into contact with an extraordinary animal, the horse.
You will visit incredibly evocative places surrounded by greenery, in the company of an equestrian guide. You will ride through the woods, cross an alpine pasture to reach a wonderful panoramic trail.
At the end of the experience you will be offered a tasting of typical Piedmontese products. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting point is the Baita del Verde in Prato Nevoso, located at an altitude of 1600 metres. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who will introduce us to our horse and provide us with the necessary equipment.
After an introductory briefing, in which the basics of horse handling will be explained to us, it will be time to set off.
We will take the panoramic dirt road to reach the Mondolè Ski slopes, which are covered in snow in winter, the Rosso and Balma areas. Here there is a tiny village built under an enormous rocky outcrop, a place where time seems to have stopped.
We then arrive at the junction with Artesina and return via the panoramic path. Once back at the starting point, we will be offered a tasting of typical Monregalese products.
The walk lasts a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is simple and suitable for everyone, even first-time horse riders. The minimum age to participate is 14.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your weight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
