If woods, mountain air and horses put you in a good mood, Recoaro Terme is your new happy place.
Here, a horseback ride along the Sentiero dei Grandi Alberi (Big Tree Trail) awaits you: a route through meadows, ancient trunks and views of the Little Dolomites. All with an equestrian guide at your side and the tranquillity of American-style riding, perfect even if this is your first time on horseback.
A 1-hour experience on the slopes of the Little Dolomites. .. that will do as much good as a mini-vacation.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding stables in Recoaro Terme (VI), at the time selected when booking. The equestrian guide will welcome us and take us to the stable, where the horses will be ready and waiting for us.
Before setting off, we will take a few minutes to get to know them: a little caressing, a few tips and then a short ride in the field to familiarise you with American riding and make you feel comfortable in the saddle.
When everything is ready, we will leave the riding school and take the 'Big Tree Trail'. It's a trail that surprises from the very first metres: forest, meadow, huge trunks that tell centuries-old stories and, in the background, the Little Dolomites that appear between one clearing and the next. The guide will be with us at all times (on horseback if we are already experienced, on foot if we are beginners) so we can enjoy the walk without any worries.
After about an hour's walk, we will return to the riding stables, with the feeling of having experienced a small trip into nature. Between the briefing in the field and the horseback ride, the entire experience will last approximately 1. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Children under 18 can participate with the consent of a parent or responsible adult and will be accompanied by a walking guide.
The weight limit for participation is 110 kg.
No experience is required, ideal for beginners and those who have never ridden a horse before.
Other information
The walk takes place from March to November.
The planned riding is American style, ideal for beginners.
Companions are welcome; during the activity they can relax in the riding hall or at the bar opposite.
The meeting place can be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
