Take part in a 2-hour horseback ride through the Rieti countryside, contemplating the majesty of the Terminillo profile and the enchanting landscapes of the plateau.
Forgotten paths, whispering woods and ancient villages are waiting to tell you stories of times gone by. And our equestrian guide will accompany you along the way, guaranteeing your safety and peace of mind!
What we will do
The appointment is at the riding school in Leonessa (RI), at the time selected when booking. We will immediately begin with a briefing of about 10 minutes in which the guide will explain the basics of mounting, driving and stopping the horse.
We will leave the stables, venturing along the approximately 8-10 km route in the Leonessa area. We will follow an easy route on dirt roads with a few asphalt crossings, where we will enjoy views of the countryside and forest.
We will explore on horseback some villages on the Rieti plateau, such as Cantalice, Cittaducale and Posta, following ancient paths used in the past as communication routes.
We will also have the opportunity to admire the iconic profile of Terminillo, and catch a glimpse of Lago Lungo and Lago Ripasottile, two stretches of water that are home to a rich biodiversity and form part of a nature reserve.
We will return to the riding school after about two hours of experience.

The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 14 and a maximum weight of 120 kg.
