If you love horses and would like to learn how to communicate with them, don't miss this fantastic horseback ride.
Surrounded by the green countryside of Brescia, you will be able to create a special bond with your horse before mounting the saddle and riding for an hour and a half.
Once you reach the Chiese River, it will be time to stop for a picnic in nature. Enjoy the scenery, the country air and treat yourself to local products. Don't forget a snack for your horse too, though!
What we will do
The appointment is at the riding school in Visano, in the province of Brescia. We will immediately get acquainted with the equestrian guides while we are offered a small welcome snack (coffee, biscuits, local products...).
After half an hour, we will move to the stable where the over thirty horses that live here in harmony with nature are cared for. We will learn how to interact with the horse and communicate with it through gestures that convey confidence.
Once in the saddle, we will review the gestures and language to be used with the horse with the support of the guide. In this way we will become familiar with the animal before going out for a ride. These preparation activities will last approximately one hour.
Off we go! Outside the stable, the paths of the Brescian countryside will be waiting for us, where we will walk for about an hour and thirty minutes. We will head towards the banks of the River Chiese, riding in peace.
When we reach the river, about halfway along the route, it will be time to try the local delicacies with a tasty picnic (included). If the weather permits and the water is clement, we may even decide to go for a swim!
Finally, we will return to the stables where we will dismount and give our final care to the horse. The activity lasts a total of about 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone over 9 years of age and a maximum weight of 90 kg. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
A minimum of experience on horseback is necessary, such as having already had a lesson or a first approach to riding.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round, every day except Mondays.
The riding school provides 2 horses and 2 ponies, which will be assigned to children and young people between 9 and 14 years of age.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
