Your guide
Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by this beautiful creature that is the horse. I wanted to create a facility where the horse can be experienced as a friend and where I can do country riding, in the middle of paths and woods, with horses living in an open, unspoilt place.

Full description
Enjoy a day full of charm, visiting the Susa Valley on horseback, starting from the Avigliana Lakes Park and arriving at the Sacra di San Michele, the symbolic monument of the Piedmont region, which inspired Uberto Eco in the novel 'The Name of the Rose'.
A tour guide will guide you on a real journey into a dimension of peace, nature, history and culture. Anexcursion on horseback with a medieval feel, in the heart of an unspoilt environment that will leave you with indelible memories.
What we will do
We will meet in the morning in Avigliana (TO), on the outskirts of the Susa Valley. After getting acquainted with the guide and familiarising ourselves with the horses, we will hold a short briefing that will serve as a review of the basic rules for peaceful riding.
When we are ready, we will begin the ride by entering the Avigliana Lakes Natural Park, a protected area of great natural and faunal interest. We will cross unspoilt forests in the direction of Mount Pirchiriano, a rocky spur that reaches 960 m above sea level, offering an extremely evocative scenery, dominated by the Sacra di San Michele, which emerges from the misty clouds of the valley.
Right on the top of the mountain, in fact, stands this important Abbey, which is one of the main attractions of the entire region. Its location gives it a special charm, with the entire Mount Pirchiriano acting as its majestic base. The religious complex was the inspiration for Umberto Eco's 'The Name of the Rose' and, according to fans of esotericism and white magic, is said to be a propulsive point of positive energy.
The Sacra will be the central point of our excursion. We will stop for a long time to appreciate its architectural and scenic value, before descending from the mountain to discover other suggestive corners and landscapes.
A break for a packed lunch is planned. The route has a total length of 25 km and requires a minimum of horse riding experience. The activity lasts 8 hours and will end around 6 p.m. with the return to the starting point.
