Saddle up and let the breeze lull you as the Salento landscape unfolds before you.
On our one-hour horseback ride, you can admire the centuries-old olive trees and ancient masserias that dot the countryside between the Ionian and Adriatic seas. And don't worry if this is your first time on horseback: with the assistance of experienced equestrian guides, this ride is ideal as a first experience.

What we will do
We will meet at the stables in Scorrano, in the province of Lecce, at the time selected when booking. We will meet the riding club's guides here and have a briefing with them lasting about 10-15 minutes on how to approach the horse.
Mounted on horseback, we will leave the club together with the riding guides to immerse ourselves in the beautiful Salento countryside.
The approximately 5 km route will take us through the historic masserie and vast olive groves that characterise this land. We will be in the very corner of land that divides theAdriatic and Ionian seas, an authentic historical and natural jewel. We will ride at a leisurelypace to fully enjoy the panorama and savour the scent of the Mediterranean scrub.
During the excursion we will also visit theoldest olive tree in Apulia. This magnificent tree, which is over 1,300 years old, is a living symbol of the region's tradition and culture, but is sadly at risk of disappearing.
Finally, we will return to the stables after an hour or so of horseback riding experience.
Who it is aimed at
The walk is suitable for everyone from 8 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the riding school but are not required to be accompanied during the walk.
No experience is required to participate in this activity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
