Have you ever admired the sunset while riding a horse? If the answer is no, now is the time to try this experience.
We are waiting for you in Fagnano Olona for a one-hour horseback ride through woods, flower meadows and cultivated fields in the province of Varese, together with an expert guide.
Get ready to chase the sun on the horizon and its thousand colours!
What we will do
The appointment is in Fagnano Olona (VA), 30 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.
On our arrival we will be met by the guide, who will welcome us to the stables. We will assist in preparing the horses, getting to know them better and saddling them up before departure.
We will then participate in a field briefing of about 10 minutes, in which the guide will assess our level of experience and teach us some riding basics, such as how to stand in the saddle and hold the reins.
Once we have finished our preparations, it will be time to begin our ride along the white roads that surround the riding school, heading into the Fagnano Olona countryside. We will take a ride through the surrounding woods , and then stop to admire the sunset amidst hay bales, cornfields and flowering meadows, which will make the route very scenic in summer .
The walk will be conducted at a leisurely pace, on a mostly flat 4-5 km route. The guide will accompany the group on horseback or on foot in the case of inexperienced participants, to be assessed during the initial briefing.
The activity will last approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 6.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity, while from the age of 14 onwards a release form signed by the parent is sufficient.
This ride is easy and ideal for beginners. If you already have horse riding experience and would like to do the activity, please inform the guide after confirming your booking: on the day of the activity you will have to prove your level with a field test of approximately 20 minutes, included in the total duration of the activity.
The maximum weight allowed is 90 kg.

The activity takes place all year round.
Saddles for American and English riding are available.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the facility during the activity; a clubhouse, toilets and an outdoor area with tables are available. It is possible to enter the riding stables with dogs on leashes.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.
