Enjoy a horseback ride in the woods of Lurisia, surrounded by the peaks of the Maritime Alps and the landscapes of the Cuneo valleys.
Spend a few relaxing hours in the saddle and discover an area rich in nature and traditions, stopping to taste a selection of wines and typical products.
Have you never ridden a horse? No problem! Our expert guides will teach you the abc of horse riding with an introductory lesson.
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Lurisia, a hamlet of the municipality of Roccaforte Mondovì (CN), famous for its thermal baths and natural mineral water springs.
First, the guides will familiarise us with the horses, teaching us how to approach them in the right way. Then we will have a short lesson on basic riding techniques, so that we can enjoy the ride even if we have never ridden a horse before.
When we are ready, we will leave the stables and head into the surrounding woods. We will ride on quiet paths and lanes, totally immersed in unspoilt nature.
Along the way, the guides will tell us about the history and curiosities of the area, and at the end of the ride they will take us to the restaurant where an excellent and abundant tasting of typical products and two glasses of local wines will be waiting for us.
The excursion on horseback will last 2 hours, while the activity will last about 4 hours in total, depending on how long we stay for the tasting.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 14 years old and up. No previous experience on horseback is required.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg; if you weigh 80 kg or more, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your weight.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
